Hi. I make seasonal anime charts. Like I mentioned in the past, I started this little project because chartfag quit and I liked his format. I'm not trying to 1:1 replicate his style, but I do look to them for a lot of inspiration (mainly his summer / fall 2010 ones). I keep them simple; title, image, some info about the series, studio, and date is all you really need, in my opinion. Other stuff is nice to have, but can bloat the image too much (Also trying to keep filesizes low). Basically, I think a chart should just work as a general overview. Specific details can be looked up by the viewer if they're interested.
I find my info using Moonphase, Yaraon/2ch, ANN/MAL, Animesuki's upcoming series forum and fansubwiki. Info isn't always 100% accurate, so bear with me if there's a mistake and that series you were looking forward to gets delayed or something.
